ReguVerity Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of the ReguVerity website, software platform and associated services.

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using ReguVerity, you agree to these Terms.

1. About ReguVerity

ReguVerity provides technology designed to help organisations manage compliance activities, including regulatory assessments, inspections, evidence, documentation, actions, forms, audits, risks and related governance activities.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Ensuring users are appropriately authorised.
  • Managing user permissions.
  • Informing us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.

Accounts must not be shared between individuals where individual accounts are required.

3. Your Responsibilities

You remain responsible for your organisation's regulatory and legal compliance.

ReguVerity provides tools, information and assistance to support compliance management. It does not replace professional judgement, legal advice, regulatory advice or decisions made by regulators.

4. Regulatory Information

We aim to provide useful and current compliance information. However, legislation, regulatory guidance and inspection methodologies can change.

Users should verify significant regulatory decisions against the relevant legislation, regulator guidance or professional advice where appropriate.

5. AI-Generated Content

ReguVerity may provide AI-assisted:

  • Recommendations
  • Explanations
  • Summaries
  • Drafts
  • Assessments
  • Suggested actions
  • Compliance insights

AI-generated content may contain errors or require additional context. Users remain responsible for reviewing information before relying upon it for significant decisions.

6. Customer Content

Customers retain ownership of content they upload or create within ReguVerity, subject to the rights required for us to operate the service.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary authority and lawful basis to upload and process information through ReguVerity.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use ReguVerity to:

  • Break applicable laws.
  • Upload unlawful content.
  • Attempt unauthorised access.
  • Introduce malware.
  • Interfere with platform security.
  • Attempt to circumvent permissions.
  • Misrepresent compliance status deliberately.
  • Infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.

8. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid features may be subject to subscription fees.

Pricing, billing cycles, renewals and applicable taxes will be displayed during purchase or specified in the applicable order or agreement.

9. Cancellation

Customers may cancel subscriptions in accordance with the terms applicable to their subscription plan.

Any applicable notice periods, refunds or continued access following cancellation will be explained at purchase or within the relevant agreement.

10. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, upgrades, security events, third-party failures and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occasionally affect availability.

11. Intellectual Property

ReguVerity and its associated software, designs, branding, workflows and proprietary content are owned by or licensed to ReguVerity.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ReguVerity intellectual property to customers.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our liability will be subject to applicable law and any limits contained within the customer's agreement with ReguVerity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

13. Suspension

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • Security risks.
  • Unlawful activity.
  • Serious breaches of these Terms.
  • Non-payment.
  • Threats to platform integrity.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice.

14. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship in accordance with the applicable subscription or contractual arrangements.

Following termination, customer data will be handled in accordance with applicable contractual and data-retention requirements.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
